The DUROLUX features an air negative spring system called EQUALIZER™ (EQ). In conjunction with the updated Piston Compensator System (PCS™) sealed cartridge, the DUROLUX 2020 edition achieves the next level of performance.

 

EQ EQUALIZER™ SYSTEM

The Air EQ system, perfectly equalizing the rider's weight to the spring curve resulting in exact positioning and support. The Air EQ system creates a customized feel for each rider, optimizing proper sag and volume control in conjunction with the external damping adjustments of sealed PCS cartridges. The result is a supple coil-spring feel in a lightweight, progressive and easy to adjust air-spring package.

 

Hollow Crown

The lightweight forged hollow crown technology brings additional stiffness and keeps the weight down. It is 35 grams lighter than the solid crown. One-piece hollow carbon upper saves again 120 grams towards the forged version.

 

PCS

Die Gabel sollte eine 2019er Fox ersetzen und das hat sie zu 150%. Die Durolux darf bleiben und die Fox muss gehen. Eine zweite Durolux ist bereits bestellt. Bestellvorgang, Bezahlung, Versand und Kommunikation mit Muziker sind problemlos und positiv. Gerne wieder

Bohužel z vidlice mám stejné pocity jako Marian W. Mám model 2021. Bohužel žádné pružiny, takže nastavení zdvihu jednoduchým přidáním spacerů se nekoná. Nastavení zdvihu pouze výměnou airshaftu, což je dalších plus 60 USD pro každý z možných zdvihů (150 - 170 mm), namísto jednouchého přidání/ubrání spaceru za cca 100 Kč (jestli tohle má být jednoduchý servis?). Airshaft navíc nikde v ČR není k sehnání. Buď jsem kopyto nebo změnu ve vysokorychlostní nebo nízkorychlostní expanzi také necítím. Vidlici z výše uvedených důvodů nedoporučím. Už jen kvůli tomu airshaftu. Kdybych chtěl platit za každou ptákovinu (malou změnu zdvihu), mohu jít ke konkurenci, která se alespoň nechlubí simply service. Za mě zklamání.
