61-note MIDI keyboard combined with single channel DAW controller from Nano series that features velocity-sensitive piano-style keys, transpose and octave up/down buttons, and control wheels for pitch-bend and modulation. It also features a dual function encoder knob surrounded by 11-segment LED to indicate the rotating position, and selectable multi-velocity curves. The keyboard includes factory presets for most popular DAW’s including Cubase, Nuendo, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Samplitude and Studio One. It also utilizes Mackie Control and HUI protocols for presets and automatic mapping, and can be configured for general MIDI values as well. Every control can be custom-mapped to any MIDI application using the included iMap software. Other features include connections for expression and sustain pedals, MIDI out, USB 2.0 high-speed connectivity, and power. Dimensions: 971 x 189 x 68 mm.
Semi-weighted keys are a type of keyboard that offer less resistance when pressed than fully balanced keys, but more resistance than synthesizer keys. This technology makes playing faster and repeating notes easier.
This instrument has 61 keys, equivalent to 5 octaves, providing a wide range of tones for a variety of musical applications.

Quite good, the case is made of metal and it feels solid. Also, it's plug and play, no drivers needed. Been using it on Cubase with zero issues. Happy with my purchase!

If you can do without aftertouch in favor of an expression pedal, the iKeyboard Nano is a well-playable "full scale" keyboard with no frills, which is characterized by an extremely shallow housing depth (perfect for desktop setups). The keyboard keys feel better than you would expect for this price: more like a more expensive semi-weighted mechanism, not at all like a cheap chewing gum spring mechanism. Perhaps the keys are mechanically a little louder than expensive top keyboards, but without reaching a disturbing level. The transpose and octave keys are of a rather simple design made of rubber. The pressure point is (just about) OK, but the indication of the current octave position is rather unclear (this is not normally a problem, but it should be mentioned). The pitch and mod wheels are a little shorter than you are used to from the classics, but can be played without any problems after a short period of getting used to them. Overall, I am very satisfied with the iKeyboard 6Nano. Ordering and delivery also went perfectly.
