Gretsch G6118T Players Edition Anniversary Two-Tone Vintage White Semi-Acoustic Guitar

The all-new FT-67 Filter’Tron™ humbucking pickups were designed to capture authentic vintage Gretsch voicing but with a more well-rounded tone for modern playing styles. This powerful pair of pickups provide open and pristine top-end chime, glassy midrange, robust low end and balanced harmonics for tone that blends seamlessly with other instruments. The innovative Gretsch “ML” bracing delivers huge hollow body sound from the comfortable 2.5”-deep maple body. The control complement — separate bridge and neck volume controls, three-way pickup toggle switching, no-load master tone and master volume — allows for infinite tonal variations. “Squeezebox” paper-in-oil capacitor adds smooth vintage tone while the all-new treble bleed circuit lets your guitar retain all of its tasty clarity when rolling the volume control down.
A 12”-radius rosewood fingerboard with rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets top a 24.6”-scale maple neck with a comfortably familiar standard “U”-shaped profile for fluidly easy playing. The Bigsby B6CP vibrato tailpiece and Adjusto-Matic™ bridge combine with the Graph Tech® TUSQ® XL nut for maximum tuning stability. The Bigsby tailpiece is now string-through, making it quicker (and easier) to change strings, as well as providing increased vibration transfer for enhanced sustain.
A finely tuned modern music machine, this guitar features the vintage Anniversary appointments Gretsch fans desire — from its two-tone finishes (Copper Metallic/Sahara Metallic with silver pickguard or Vintage White/Walnut Stain with a tortoise pickguard) to nickel hardware including Gotoh® locking tuning machines and G-arrow control knobs to the white bound body and F-holes and striking pearloid Neo-Classic™ thumbnail inlays.

Тype

Тype: Semi-Hollow Body

A semi-acoustic guitar is an electric guitar with a semi-hollow body that combines features of both electric and acoustic guitars. It has an internal cavity that enhances resonance and provides a warmer tone than full-bodied electric guitars, but is less susceptible to feedback than hollow-bodied guitars. Semi-acoustic guitars are popular in jazz, blues, and rock.

Body

Body: Laminated Maple

Laminated maple provides a bright and resonant tone with excellent response and sustain. The layered construction adds strength and stability, reducing susceptibility to cracking or warping. The laminated maple body maintains clear highs and punchy tone, making it ideal for musical styles that require a precise and articulate response.

Neck

Neck: Maple

Maple is known for its strength and stability, making it ideal for necks that need to resist bending and warping.

Fretboard: Rosewood

Rosewood is a dark, dense wood that offers a warm, rich tone with excellent response and sustain. The rosewood fingerboard is valued for its smoothness and comfortable feel while offering durability and longevity. It is popular for its rich sound and classic aesthetic.
